This summer in PAS there was a power failure. I am not absolutely sure about the reason for the blackout, but I think it has something to do with the power box malfunction. For two weeks or so we had SAT classes in the neighboring Guang-Fu High School. I thought it was interesting to have a change in environment every once in awhile. After all, Guang-Fu is a lot bigger than our small PAS campus.
I don't want to be corny, but going into the classrooms brought forth a wave of nostalgia. Not that I've actually attended Guan-Fu before, it is the local school setting that really got to me. It occurred to me for the first time that perhaps I do miss having a big campus , having a chalk board( I love to draw on that. It's really fun) , and a home room where you actually stay in for the most of the day.
With that being said, being at PAS definitely does have its own perks as well. I definitely will not miss the hot summer days and the filthy bathroom stalls that are typical to almost every local school.
